Nice! A lot of those kinds of collections can get a bit cheesy and pretentious, but there was some really good ones there.
Agreed! Many similar collections are indeed sponsored by the Cheese Marketing Board. (A bit like Jasper Fforde’s Toast Marketing Board?) I liked the craft of the this one particularly, as well as its message.
So you like the craft, not the Kraft! Sorry, I’ll get my coat…
But you’re right, it was a particularly good one. 🙂
Did you know processed cheese was a Canadian/Kraft invention? So they could sell long shelf-life “cheese” to the US military.
I still can’t get used to “… with processed cheese” being a positive thing in adverts here!! YeGods, they’ll be putting curds on their gravy and chips next. Oh wait…
Oh no, really!! I can see the advantage of long life cheese for the military, but for everyone else? No!! As a bit of a cheese fan I consider it nothing short of an abomination. Give me a good cheddar, double gloucester or stilton any day! (or feta, brie, mozzarella, camembert, edam or gouda for that matter! – Not that I’m obsessed or anything…)
Sounds like a MP sketch… 😉
What a senseless waste of life.
