Little Octopus trying to get rid of the Soy Sauce on Dinner Table – YouTube

And while we’re on the subject of animal cruelty…

How can someone be so fastidious about the hygiene of their table and so cruel to a living animal at the same time? I like my food fresh, and I love the various Asian cuisines… but I prefer it not to be moving by the time it’s on the plate!

When I used to work for Kodak (does ANYONE work for them now?) I went to a sales conference where I saw a colleague wearing an ice hockey jersey with Fukufuji on it. Fuji of course being the major competitor in the US market (Agfa in the European one).

I guess you could call this food on the go… . Way too cute for me to digg in though

Agreed. It needs killing and slicing up a bit first. They’re a bit chewy at the best of times, but I can’t imagine eating it while still moving! High in cholesterol too, I believe.

You don’t mean to tell me that someone’s about to slice off one of those tentacles and eat it, while the animal is still alive?

Ugh.

Are you missing the whole “in a bowl, on a table, soya sauce” thing?! 🙂
And octopuses (not octopi, it seems!) “drown” in air I believe. This whole thing is dodgy in my view…
(But I do love eating octopus!)
