The future lies in the hands of our youth.
A group of youth from Scouts Canada are travelling to Madagascar to help build a school. Because in 2008 they promised to… on their honour!
There was a coup d’etat there in 2009, but now peace has returned they can deliver on that promise… and in August they’re going to do just that!

I found it encouraging that even now, with all that we hear about youth being out of control and hell-bent on self-gratification, there are kids out there that want to make a positive difference, and still believe a promise is a promise. Fair play indeed.
