I think it’s Honda and one other big car manufacturer (can’t remember), both their names mean bountiful field of rice…or so I think I recall hearing. I think there’s a slight variation, or maybe just syntax.
I hate it when you’re right! Honda: “original rice paddy”, according to a thoroughly unreliable baby name website.
So from an enlightened symbol of mercy to a weapon of war? Hilarious. (Unless of course they’re referring to music or the clergy I suppose…)
