I saw this over on Mere Ponderizations, and was quite stuck by its depth. It’s purportedly from Pete Wentz, who the less trendy (or just slightly older) might not know is bassist in the band Fall Out Boy - currently on indefinite holiday. One of their best known ditties being “I don’t care” from 2008. Plainly, Pete’s an old softy and does really.
